I am writing you and your team to thank all of you to make my mom's stay in your hotel such a pleasure. Each of your staff in the front desk, particularly Anjelica and Alyssa went out of their way to provide us a service that exceeded our expectations. 

  1. When I arrived, I asked some of your staff (including Anjelica and Alyssa) not to tell my mum how much I paid for the hotel, since this was my gift to her. She asked around, cause she wanted to pay me back and everyone elegantly ditched the question knowing the situation. 
  2. The check-in and check out of the hotel were easy and fast. 
  3. My mother acknowledged the fact that the front desk was always happy to provide her with concierge-type advice (e.g. directions, places to visit, etc) with a great attitude (something not common in NY hotels lately).
  4. My mother left documents in the safety-box after she left to the airport and Anjelica and Alyssa went out of their way to support us with this situation and helped us with the precise logistics to make sure my mother get them prior to her flight departure. 

As you can tell, many of these situations could easily be handled differently and therefore our gratitude to Aloft wouldn't be the same. I live close to the hotel and have many clients and family members traveling to NY relatively often. I used to recommend many hotels in the area, and after this great experience, my list of recommendations will narrow down to a single option: Aloft Brooklyn.
