"Jacob is a 14 year old boy from Arizona. He was diagnosed with mitochondria disease, a terminal illness that drains all his energy. It was all over the news of his mother Britney asking those on Facebook to send cards for his upcoming birthday to make him feel better. He ended up receiving more than 10,000 cards and his story went viral. The NYPD Patrol Borough Brooklyn North, noticed the post and sent them cards as well. They reached out to us and wanted to go a further step and bring him to New York City for a trip of a lifetime. We were more than happy to be a part of making his dream come true. He is currently staying with us along with his Mother, Father and Brother. We sent them a welcome amenity with balloons and a cheesecake. They are so thankful for the extra special attention and love they have been receiving from all of the staff
