Please see the below touching story from Heather and Leslie at Courtyard by Marriott Coral Springs / Fort Lauderdale. They checked in a frequent guest, discussed his big move to the area and noticed a small problem with a simple fix and a big impact:
"I welcomed them and congratulated him on the new home. While getting them checked in I saw that his little girl was holding her stuffed animal with such a sad face. I asked her if she was excited to move and she said, "yes but I’m sad". I asked her why she was sad and she showed me her stuffed animal that had a tear on its little arm. I asked her if she was willing to let me hold the stuffed animal so that I could see if I can help, to which she said okay. I gave the stuffed animal to housekeeping and they stitched the stuffed animal up. I brought the stuffed animal to the little girl and she was so happy and excited that her stuffed animal was as she said, “all better”. Her dad couldn’t thank me enough and said I went above and beyond to make his little girl happy"
