Straight from our Real Impact reports: Mike Sempervive from Bethany Beach Ocean Suites, encountered this enlightened adventure of a pillowcase. It’s not always the big things that matter. Read below for a wonderfully written story:
"The front desk received a call, very late this evening, from a flustered guest in room 243. The guest had brought with them a very plain and generic white pillowcase, to use on their pillow. (This may have been someone staying with us for the first time, because they obviously didn't know our pillowcases ARE THE BEST, but I digress...) Unfortunately, during housekeeping service, our attendant stripped the bed and sent the doppleganger pillowcase out for service, along with the rest of the sheets. Intimating with her voice, over the phone, that the pillowcase may very well have possessed some sort of magic powers, our guest was very concerned, and hoped we'd be able to recover the item for her. The told her we would get back to her, straight away, and would gladly deliver it to her room. Our associate quickly called over to laundry – who was able to find the pillowcase, and hustled it to the front desk.
Wanting to make sure the guest got the best sleep that they could, the associate called over to the room – where the woman had already fallen asleep. (See, now she knows about our pillowcases! #Score) She was very pleased that we went out of our way for her, and said she'd be by in the morning to pick it up before checkout.
