Cyn and the team at MADE opened their hearts for a guest who recently lost her best FURiend. Thank you team, for being compassionate and helping a guest through such a difficult time. See the incredible story below:

"Inspiring Ms. Craig checked in with us a couple of days ago. When she arrived in the morning, she burst out in tears in front of Denzel, Eddie, and Steven and told them how her dog had died that actual morning before she caught her flight to New York. When she came back, she was greeted by Cyn who gave her the keys to her room. Cyn had no idea of the emotional check-in that she had earlier and came face to face with a smiley Ms. Craig. When she went up to her room, Denzel informed Cyn of Ms. Craig's sad morning and suggested that we do something for her. Cyn then put her thinking cap on and tried to find the best way to deal with such a touchy subject. She took the time to get to know Ms. Craig for a couple of days and waited to see if she would mention her loss once more, but to her surprise, she only saw the brave face that Ms. Craig put on every day. Cyn then went out and found the greatest way to let her guest know that she was not alone and that the MADE Hotel was there for her. She bought a charm bracelet and tree charms that represent the bond between a person and their furry friend. The bracelet was carefully placed in a box with a note. When Cyn saw Ms. Craig the next day she hand-delivered the box to her and patiently waited as she opened it. Ms. Craig's eyes filled with tears as she hugged Cyn several times thanking her for her kind gesture and the thought that she put into the detail. She said that her beloved dog was more than just a pet to her and more like a piece of her soul... When Ms. Craig came back from her room later that evening, she was wearing the bracelet and told Cyn how wearing it really did help her cope with her loss. There is no wrong or right way to mourn a loved one, but the best way to keep them in our hearts is to remember the good times that we shared."
